Got healed today!!
I always love when God intervenes & responds to our requests!
This morning I woke up feeling great and went off for my regular morning work out. When I returned to our apartment here on the YWAM Kona base, I suddenly was overcome in my right eye with a strange visual disturbance that I've never seen or experienced before. It was the weirdest thing. A colorful clearish film taking over my right eye. It expanded across my eye more and more as the minutes passed.
So I did what I knew to do first off. I drank water and laid down. I didn't feel dizzy but my heart was racing and the vision got worse and worse. This had never happened like this before. It wasn't the brief dizziness you feel when getting up too quickly.
Naturally I was getting nervous. It brought back traumatic memories of the "fireworks" I saw in my vision after Sparrow was born, when I went into seizures and had breathing trouble (eclampsia). As I laid there I prayed and reached out for help. Noah was working and didn't see my texts so I texted a nearby friend to come over. She showed up with her mom who volunteers at the base prayer room. I was so glad they where available and quick to respond!
Within minutes of them praying for me, my vision rapidly returned to clarity and I felt myself again. Oh how lovely God is in His mighty power and compassion!!!

It was another reminder today that we aren't in control. Only God is. And I'm thankful for prayerful friends!!
