The farm helps test and pioneer natural, sustainable and reusable ways to farm in regions around the world where farming is difficult or resources are scarce. They then take those skills to other regions to help empower families and communities. The food raising is also given to homeless in Kona as well as used in the YWAM base kitchen for cafeteria meals!
Drew showed us around the property, letting Sparrow and I have a test of some edible flowers, passionfruit and some ripe tomatoes. Sparrow enjoyed seeing the piglets, some sheep, the chickens, rabbits and wriggly worms in the compost!
